Principal Investigator Positions in Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics
10-15 PI positions are available in WNLO
Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO), founded in November 2003, is one of the five national laboratories sponsored by the China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. It is co-sponsored by China’s Ministry of Education, Hubei Provincial Government, and Wuhan Municipal Government. Located in the center of the Optics Valley of China (OVC, also called Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone-WEHZD) and with 405,000 ft.2 and 60% of the building devoted to lab space, the WNLO was officially opened in November 2005.
Supported by Huazhong University of Science and Technology and cooperated by Wuhan Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, Wuhan Physics and Mathematics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Huazhong Institute of Optoelectronic Technology, the research area in WNLO to the following:
- Integrated Optoelectronics and Optical Communication
- Laser Technology and Applications
- Nanophotonics and micro-opto-electro-mechanical systems (MOEMS)
- Optoelectronic Integrated Material and Devices
- Optical Data Storage
- Photonics and Imaging in Biology and Medicine
- Semiconductor Illumination and Display
