报告摘要:Organic electronics offers tremendous opportunities for the development of a new generation of sustainable ubiquitous technologies. To realize this vision, the performance, processing conditions and lifetime of devices need to be optimized through synthetic chemistry approaches, as well as by interface and device engineering. Firstly, interface engineering will be described. It plays a critical role in the optimization of organic photovoltaics, as well as in enabling advances in device processability and lifetime. Previous advances in the development of air-processable low work function electrodes can be combined with a novel method to produce electrical p-doping of organic semiconductor films by a simple immersion process, to enable efficient single-layer organic photovoltaics. Secondly, device and interface engineering are described. It enables significant reductions of parasitic resistance effects in organic thin-film transistors and ultimately has led to the realization of organic thin-film transistors that reach a level of environmental stability and performance that is comparable to other commercial thin-film technologies.
