Evgeny M. Dianov教授,俄罗斯科学院院士,OSA Fellow,现任俄罗斯科学院光纤光学中心主任,其主要研究领域是激光物理、光纤及非线性光学,拥有800篇/项学术论文和专利。1960年毕业于莫斯科大学,1966年获得物理和量子电子学博士学位。1977年从苏联科学院P.N.Lebedev物理研究所获得理学博士。1960到1983年在苏联P.N.Lebedev物理研究所从事研究工作。后于1983年到2006年在俄罗斯科学院物理研究所从事研究工作。2006年至今在俄罗斯科学院光纤光学中心从事研究工作。曾获得苏联国家奖、俄罗斯国家奖、Vavilov金奖和John Tyndall奖。是IEEE、ACerS、MRS的成员。
Biography:
Prof. EVGENY M. DIANOV is Scientific Director of the Fiber Optics Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He graduated from Moscow State University in 1960 and began his scientific career in the P. N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1960-1983), then worked in the General Physics Institute (1983-2006) and in the Fiber Optics Research Center of RAS (2006- present). He received the Ph.D. degree in Physical and Quantum Electronics in 1966 and the Doctor of Science degree in Physics in 1974.
In 1994 Prof. Dianov became a Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. His research interests include fiber optics, laser physics and nonlinear optics and he has published more than 800 scientific papers and patents. He received the State Prize of the Soviet Union for “Neodymium Glass Lasers” in 1974 and the State Prize of Russia for “Infrared Fibers” in 1998, Vavilov Gold Medal in 2015 “For the investigation of nonlinear processes in optical fibers and creation of optical fiber sources of radiation based on nonlinear phenomena for visible and near IR spectral regions” and John Tyndall Award in 2017 “For pioneering leadership in optical fiber development and outstanding contributions to nonlinear fiber optics and optical fiber amplifiers.” Prof. Dianov is a Member of IEEE, ACerS, MRS, a Fellow of OSA.

报告首先简要介绍俄罗斯科学院光纤光学中心的研究现状。随后,我们将详细介绍掺铋光纤及其在激光和放大方面的研究成果。
报告回顾并总结了2005年我们在世界上首次研制出的掺铋光纤。为实现掺铋光纤的超宽带荧光和放大特性,有必要对不同组分玻璃纤芯的掺铋光纤进行研究。我们研究了石英玻璃掺铋光纤,氧化锗玻璃掺铋光纤,氧化硅-氧化锗玻璃掺铋光纤,氧化铝-氧化硅玻璃掺铋光纤以及硅磷酸盐玻璃掺铋光纤。通过上述研究,我们在1150nm-1800nm范围内实现了一系列光纤的激光和超宽带光放大。
Abstract:
The presentation will include brief information concerning the Fiber Optics Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Then the results on the research and development of Bismuth-doped (Bi-doped) optical fibers, Bi-doped fiber lasers and optical amplifiers will be discussed in detail.
The first Bi-doped optical fibers were fabricated by the Fiber Optics Research Center together with the Institute of High-Purity Substances in 2005 using MCVD technique.To create Bi-doped fiber lasers and optical amplifiers operating in broad spectral region it was necessary to use Bi-doped fibers with various core glass compositions. We selected the following fiber core glasses: Bi:SiO2 , Bi:GeO2 , Bi:GeO2-SiO2 , Bi:Al2O3-SiO2,Bi:P2O5-SiO2. In the results, a family of Bi-doped fiber lasers and optical amplifiers operating in the spectral region 1150-1800 nm was developed.
