Organic materials possess theflexibility,adjustable performance throughmolecular design,environmental friendliness, potentiallylow-cost, recyclability, etc.The conjugated organic materials enabled the chargedissociation, recombination, transfer andstorage, and hence endowed them greatopportunitiesfor various applications in optoelectronics.In order to promote research onorganicmaterials and the related applicationsin optoelectronics, Prof. Chengliang Wang (Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China)andProf. Yinhua Zhou (Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China) are planning to organize a special issue on organic optoelectronics. Submission deadline isDecember 15, 2021.
This special issue will cover the most recent progressesinorganic materials andtheirapplicationsin optoelectronics. The topics include, but are not limited to:
Organic field-effect transistors
Organic light-emitting diodes
Organicphotovoltaics and solar cells
Organiclasers, photodetectors,phototransistors,optical modulators, waveguides, etc.
Optical nonlinearities with organic materials
Sensors based on organicoptoelectronics
Energy conversion andstoragedevices, such as photocatalysis and batteries, based on organic materials.
Article types include: review article, research article and letter.
